‘You’re so charming’ She gushed.
‘Charm is the quality in others that makes us more satisfied with ourselves.’ I told her.
She stared at me blankly.
‘Henri-Frédéric Amiel’ I told her.
She kept staring.
I’m not charming anymore.
Also, she stopped speaking to me.
So much for honesty…
